Industrial Painting USA is a rapidly growing commercial and industrial painting company serving clients across the United States. We specialize in high-quality coating and surface preparation solutions for manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, and large commercial properties. To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations from our Schaumburg, IL headquarters.
This is a senior-level position ideal for someone with a proven track record in managing field crews, overseeing project execution, driving sales, and optimizing internal systems within a construction, painting, or contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of company operations, including project scheduling, staffing, materials, safety, and client communication.
  • Supervise field crews, project managers, and personnel to ensure timely, high-quality job completion.
  • Work closely with the sales team to review project scopes, approve estimates, and assist with closing high-value deals.
  • Monitor active job sites, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety compliance and efficiency across all projects.
  • Optimize internal processes and systems to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Track KPIs, job costing, budgets, and labor hours to assess performance and report to ownership.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the painting, construction, or contracting industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of driving operational success, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, job estimating, and client relationship management.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and job site safety best practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and job tracking software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be based in or willing to commute to Schaumburg, IL.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing industrial and commercial painting projects.
  • Background in business operations, construction management, or general contracting.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, estimating software, and time/labor tracking tools.
